Project History

In 2002, a popular movement grew in opposition to poorly justified plans to invade Iraq. Due to the general enthusiasm of mass media toward this and other wars, it became all the more necessary for activists and people of conscience to organize their opposition within the media. This web-ring system furthers this effort because it is a low-budget, easily sustainable mechanism for grouping the media activities of hundreds of individuals.
